Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use fastcarservice.net and when you trust us with your vehicle — estimates, approvals, warranties and what happens if something goes wrong.
1. Using this website
By using fastcarservice.net you accept these terms. The site is informational — booking requests made through it are confirmed by phone before they become appointments.
2. Estimates and authorization
Every repair starts with a written estimate. Work begins only after you approve it, in writing or verbally during a recorded authorization. If we discover additional problems mid-repair, we stop and get your approval for the updated estimate before continuing.
3. Pricing
Prices on this site are "from" prices for typical vehicles and conditions. Your binding price is the one on your approved estimate. All prices exclude GST. Parts prices can change between estimate and approval — if that happens, we tell you before ordering.
4. Our warranty
Repairs we perform carry a 24-month warranty on parts and labour, unlimited kilometres, unless a different term is stated on your invoice. The warranty covers defects in the part or our workmanship; it does not cover normal wear, abuse, accident damage, or issues in unrelated systems.
5. Customer-supplied parts
You're welcome to bring your own parts. Warranty on customer-supplied parts covers labour only — if the part itself fails, that's between you and your supplier.
6. Your vehicle
While your vehicle is in our care it is covered by our garage insurance. Please remove valuables — we're responsible for the car, not the contents. Vehicles left more than 30 days after completion notice may incur storage charges.
7. Payment
Payment is due on pickup unless other terms were agreed in advance. We accept cards, e-transfer and cash. For repairs over $1,000 a split-payment arrangement may be available — ask before work starts.
8. Old parts
Replaced parts are returned to you on request, except core parts that must go back to suppliers for remanufacture credit.
9. Liability
Our liability for any claim connected to a repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair, except where Alberta law says otherwise. We are not liable for indirect losses like missed trips or rental costs, though we'll always try to make things right.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. The estimate and invoice you sign include the terms current at that date.
